About LotusFlare

Simplify Technology – Simplify Experience™

Heritage

LotusFlare was born out of a vision of its founders to make the mobile internet accessible and affordable to people in parts of the world who often did not have access. The idea that drove LotusFlare founders to set out from Facebook was to grow the uptake of mobile internet by average people by simplifying the technology that provided access.

Behind the name: LotusFlare

The lotus is a striking and unique plant that bears beautiful flowers, standing out in contrast to the murky waters of ponds where it grows. A flare is similar but in a more dramatic fashion a swift and radiant burst of light that draws focus and brings clarity so objects can be seen. In merging these words to create our name, the idea was to become a company whose offerings shine out from the surrounding gloom, illuminating with brilliance and capturing attention for the outcomes they deliver. The key to creating such offerings is a commitment to LotusFlare’s core principle simplify technology, simplify experience.

LotusFlare DNOCloud powers a LotusFlare business called Nomad eSIM. The vision of Nomad is to inspire people to travel and gain life-changing experiences all over the world by taking away a modern, decidedly digital worry the high cost of data roaming. Nomad eSIM has created a marketplace of partners to provide local data roaming plans for travelers. The Nomad eSIM app is available on Web, iOS and Android.
